Chau + Huy Wedding

If you have seen Chau & Huy’s beautiful engagement photos already, you certainly know that their wedding won’t be anything less than amazing. Chau exudes a beauty with class, grace, and elegance; and Huy has this masculine, charismatic, charming look that similar to a famous Hong Kong actor in The Shanghai Bund, a well known, acclaimed HK movie about the rising and falling of two gangsters in Shanghai. By just looking with how they interact with their family, one can tell that they were raised up in a Vietnamese family of strong values and tradition. Hence, a traditional Vietnamese wedding is expected from them. In general, to those who are not familiar with traditional Vietnamese wedding, it consists of two main ceremonies: 1) A tea ceremony at the bride’s house, in which the groom and his family come over to perform a tea ritual to marry the bride and bring her home, and 2) a tea ceremony at the groom’s house to accept the bride into the groom’s family and be officially wed. Therefore, from the photos below you will see 2 different tea ceremonies, and of course there’s the reception at night for everyone else that didn’t attend the tea ceremonies. Overall, it was a warm, sunny summer day, and the wedding was fabulous. Chau looked magnificent in her custom-made Vietnamese long dress (Ao Dai) and wedding gown, while Huy looked dashingly handsome in his black and white tux. The reception was held at Crown Plaza in Anaheim. It was a cozy and fun wedding with so many memorable moments of Huy being his normal – fun, laughable guy, and Chau being her normal – demure and graceful self. Congrats Chau & Huy! Thank you for letting us being a part of your special day.

Yummy! Love the spring rolls…This 2 kids are so adorable. She was so blushing when the boy handed her the garter he took.
